Mikel Arteta recently achieved a significant personal milestone by notching up 100 victories as Arsenal’s boss. However, he has humbly acknowledged that this achievement does not equate to winning a title.
To secure a first Premier League crown since the days of the ‘Invincibles’, the team needs to adopt an elite mindset and work towards achieving their ultimate targets collectively.
Arteta’s contribution towards this goal cannot be overstated, and his 100 victories in 168 games at the helm, with a win percentage of 59.5%, make him the most successful manager in the club’s history. Nevertheless, he remains focused on the bigger picture and is determined to keep striving towards their end goal.
In his own words, Arteta expressed his delight in reaching this milestone and acknowledged the contributions of the team and the support of the fans in achieving this feat.
“It’s a great achievement to win 100 games at this club, it has to continue like that. I tell my players that We still have a lot to do, and a lot of areas where we can improve but as you know, 100 wins do not guarantee titles”. Arteta said
Arsenal’s current win ratio in the Premier League is an impressive 73%, having won 21 out of their 27 games. With a five-point lead over defending champions Manchester City, they look forward to home games against Sporting in the Europa League and Crystal Palace in domestic competition.
