Aaron Ramsdale has signed a new “long-term” contract with Premier League club Arsenal.
The term of the contract has not been disclosed by the Gunners, but manager Mikel Arteta expressed his excitement for “many more years of Aaron at the club.”
Ramsdale, 25, has played in each of Arsenal’s 36 league games in their challenge for the Premier League title this season.
Arteta continued, “Aaron’s growth has been amazing”.
Ramsdale, whose prior contract was set to end in 2025, was signed from Sheffield United in August 2021 for £24 million plus an additional £6 million in add-ons.
He has won three England caps and has kept 13 clean sheets in the top league this season.
