Nollywood actress and movie producer Toyin Abraham has condemned Supporters of political parties who bully candidates who don’t support their own candidate.
The actress who now addresses herself as ‘Asiwaju Baby’ said harassing and bullying people for their political choices has to stop.
Recall that we reported earlier where the actress raised alarm over a YouTube video that claimed she was dead.
In a post she made on her Instagram page, Toyin Abraham stressed that instead of bullying people for their Choices, the energy should be channeled into convincing people on the right candidate to vote for.
She wrote:
“When I said bullying,, harassing and threatening need to stop because people made a choice in a democracy they ignored the message and focused on the messenger.
My message was to ALL Nigerians.
Like the saying by a popular activist- no Nigerian is more Nigerian than any other Nigerian so it is one thumb, one vote that will determine our future so let’s divert that energy to convince people about our preferred candidate because online or offline bullying, harassment won’t win you the election.
As we enter the final stretch of the election circle don’t allow them to shut you down because of your choice, it is your fundamental human rights to select a candidate and INEC to do the final counting.
