Bandits in Taraba State killed three abducted siblings after collecting N60 million ransom from their father alongside a motorcycle rider.

Bandits in Taraba State killed three abducted siblings after collecting N60 million ransom from their father alongside a motorcycle rider.

A source told SpeedUp9ja that the killing of the abducted children took place on Sunday, 25th December 2022, at a forest near Garin Dogo in the Lau Local Government Area of the state.

According to the source, “The abductors initially requested for N100m from the father of the children who is a cattle dealer identified as Alhaji Musa, they later settled for N60m after negotiation.”

The source explained that the motorcycle rider who the kidnappers killed was hired to deliver the ransom to the abductors after they had killed the three siblings.

The victims were on Monday, 26th December 2022, buried in the village.

DSP Usman Abdullahi, the state Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the killings of the victims.
