According to BILD, a division has emerged within the Bayern Munich team over the dismissal of Julian Nagelsmann as the club’s manager. One faction supported the club’s decision, while the other supported Nagelsmann.
Last week, the club let go of the German tactician and brought in Thomas Tuchel as the new coach. Some of the players who opposed Nagelsmann’s sacking included Manuel Neuer, Sven Ulreich, Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala, Joao Cancelo, and Sadio Mane.
Meanwhile, players like Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Matthijs de Ligt, Dayot Upamecano, and Benjamin Pavard wanted Nagelsmann to continue as coach.
Bayern’s recent poor form in the Bundesliga, having only won five of their last 10 games, was a significant factor in the manager’s dismissal.
Nagelsmann has been rumored to be in line to replace recently fired Tottenham boss Antonio Conte who left White Hart Lane less than 24 Hours ago.
