Controversial media personality and celebrity critic, Daniel Regha revealed in a recent interview that Grammy award winning singer, Burna Boy is still an upcoming artist compared to the likes of Olamide, Davido and WizKid.
Daniel Regha made this statement while chatting with with Ex Big brother Naija housemate,Doyin David on her podcast show, Doyin’s corner.
He said Burna boy should not be placed in the same category as Wizkid, Olamide and Davido because the trio got to the big stage before him.
Speaking on Olamide’s music career,He said that people don’t rate Olamide so much because he doesn’t collaborate with international artists, that Olamide doesn’t get enough credit because he collabs with mostly Nigerian and African artists.
On why he thinks Burna Boy is still an upcoming artist compared to Olamide, WizKid, and Davido. He said Burna boy doesn’t deserve to be placed alongside with them because when they were popping and taking over the music scene years ago, Burna boy was no where to be found.

” Burna should not be in that category firstly, Burna is still an upcomer compared to Olamide, WizKid, and Davido. When these artists were popping, Burna was no where to be found. So that’s my statement. Burna has his own group of people that popped up with him. They might not be on the steps now but there is a step for everybody. It is just like saying you want to put 2face and Davido,WizKid in one sentence. It doesn’t make any sense because 2 face is bigger than them. it is not about the money or the streams.”
