According to reports, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are discussing the possibility of trading Joao Felix and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Another player the Blues are open to letting go is Spanish full-back Marc Cucurella if it means keeping Portugal international forward Felix at Stamford Bridge past the end of his initial loan period.
With Chelsea unwilling to pay Atletico’s £100 million asking price in any permanent deal, it has been suggested that the 23-year-old will sign a second loan agreement for roughly £16 million.
They are still trying to figure out how to lower that number.
Aubameyang or Cucurella, both of whom Atleti are reportedly interested in, may be used as makeweights in a move for Felix, according to Standard Sport.
Leading up to the summer transfer window, negotiations between La Liga and Premier League powerhouses are still going on.
Felix, who has appeared in 17 games for Chelsea and scored three goals, is rumored to be open to the notion of staying in west London despite the fact that Diego Simeone, the manager of Atletico, plainly has no long-term intentions for him.
