Matchweek 23 served us another round of interesting fixtures in the English Premier League with Arsenal and Chelsea both failing to pick up maximum points despite being in the lead at some point in their respective games.
Chelsea began the day with a 1-1 draw at the London Stadium against West Ham. New signing, Joao Felix gave Graham Potter’s side the lead after 16 minutes, but West ham got an equalizer via former Chelsea player Emerson Palmeri.

At the Emirates stadium, table toppers, Arsenal were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Visiting Brentford. Leandro Trossard’s opener in the 66th minute was canceled out by Ivan Toney’s Equaliser in the 74 minute. Arsenal is now winless in three games since their dramatic 3-2 win over Manchester United in January.
Other results of the day saw Leicester City coming from a goal down to defeat Tottenham Hotspurs by 4-1. Nigeria’a kelechi Ihenacho scored and assisted in the game.
Crystal palace and Brighton played out a 1-1 draw, while Fulham saw off Nottingham Forrest 2-0, and Wolves with 10 men came from a goal down to beat Southampton by 2-1.
The Late game of the day also saw Newcastle and Bournemouth play out a 1-1 draw.
The action Continues tomorrow with Manchester United going to Elland road to take on Leeds United while Champions Manchester City welcome Aston Villa to the Ethiad stadium.
