Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Beauty Tukura, has broken her silence on the controversies surrounding her winning the best dressed female celebrity at the recently concluded AMVCAs.

In a recent podcast interview, Beauty expressed her surprise at winning the award for best dressed in the female category stating that she didn’t expect it at all.

Beauty defended the legitimacy of the award by explaining that her fans didn’t have the chance to vote for her while she was on the BBNaija show due to her disqualification. Because of this, they are determined to ensure she wins any nomination she receives not minding if merits it or not.

When asked about her feelings regarding the controversies surrounding her victory at the award ceremony, Beauty acknowledged that not everyone may agree with the outcome of the awards. However, she suggested that they accept the fact that she has won and pursue any grievances they have in court.

The former beauty queen was also asked about the cost of her AMVCA dress. She responded by saying that she doesn’t have the right to disclose that information to anyone at the moment.

She said: “People are forgetting that we have fans that can die on our matter I don’t know if you understand. The adrenaline, they were excited. My fans didn’t get to vote me in Big Brother’s house. So any opportunity they get to vote me anywhere, Imagine it’s like for them. “
