A famous Nigerian chef and Foodpreneur, Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, on monday May 15, 2023, breaks the Guinness World Record for the “longest cooking marathon by an individual”.
Hilda started the marathon on Thursday, May 11, by 4pm and have already achieved 90 hours and 38 minues on monday morning, May 15 and still counting.
She has already surpassed the current Guinness World Record holder, Lata Tandon, from India.
Nigerian celebrities, including Musicians, comedians, and actors have visited the cooking location in lagos to cheer, even under the rain to support her willingness to achieving that undermine records.
Hilda has receive a lot of unpredicted supports from the whole nigerians, she was even seen in a video talking on a voice call with the vice president of nigeria, yemi osibanjo, who called to give her words of encouragement.
