Arsenal’s winger, Nicolas Pepe who is currently on loan at French club Nice, has expressed his disappointment with Mikel Arteta’s decision in loaning him out and suggested that he could have played a crucial role for the Gunners this season.
Pepe struggled to secure a regular starting position at Arsenal before joining Nice on loan, where he has so far scored six goals in 17 appearances.
During a press conference, Pepe spoke out about his uncertain future at Arsenal, stating that he doesn’t know what the club wants and that he believes he could have been an asset to the team had he been given more opportunities.
“I don’t know what Arteta wants. I still have many friends there at Arsenal. I could have been important for the club, but those are the coach’s decisions.” Pepe Said
While Pepe has enjoyed his time at Nice and is focused on the remainder of the season, he has not ruled out the possibility of returning to Arsenal and is open to discussions about his future.
