Which documents do I need?
This varies on a case-by-case basis, but all applicants must present a letter of acceptance from a DSI in Canada. Most applicants must present a passport and a sufficient balance. You may also be asked to submit biometric information, such as a photo and fingerprints, depending on where you are from. Find out here whether you need to provide biometric information.
You can’t get a student permit if you have a criminal record, so you may need to show a certificate to prove that you don’t have one to qualify. As with applying for a student visa in another country, you will need to provide documentation showing that you can finance your studies. You must be able to demonstrate that you can support yourself while living in Canada through bank statements, payment of accommodation or tuition fees, and scholarship or scholarship notices. You must demonstrate that you have access to $ 10,000 (CAD) for each year of your stay.
In most cases, you will need to apply for a study permit before entering Canada. If you choose to submit your application online through the Citizenship and Immigration website, you must create an online account. At first you just need a debit / credit card and a device like a camera or scanner to upload images of your documents as part of the application.

About a Canadian student license is $ 150 (CAD). However, this is a base price and will likely be a little more once you’ve actually uploaded and reviewed your application. If you need to provide biometric data, you will be charged an additional $ 85.
The price of your permit will be confirmed to you before you pay and submit your application.
Once your application is approved …
You will receive an introduction letter (and sometimes a temporary residence visa). At the border control in Canada when you land, you must present it along with your valid passport.
