Nigerian media personality and critic, Daniel Regha, has voiced his disappointment in Nigerian Chef, Hilda Baci for eating and sharing dog meat online.
Hilda Baci, who recently set a Guinness World Record for the longest cooking hours by an individual, was seen in a video with media personality, Enioluwa trying various delicacies from Akwa Ibom, including dog meat, which is commonly eaten in that region.
Reacting to this, Daniel Regha, known for his straightforward opinions on social media, took to Twitter to express his thoughts on Hilda’s video.
He criticized her for consuming dog meat and posting about it on social media, especially considering that she is currently being watched by both local international media houses.

Daniel emphasized that while some African countries may view the consumption of dog meat as acceptable, it is considered animal cruelty in Western countries.
He stressed the importance of being mindful of cultural differences and recognizing that actions may be perceived differently depending on the cultural context.
He wrote ” Hilda Baci needs to think smart, the world is watching her. Eating dog meat & posting it online as content is unwise; Enioluwa should also know better. Some Africans eat dogs, but this is considered animal cruelty in many foreign countries. The fight for Animal Rights is no joke.”
