Afrobeat singer and the son of Legendary FelaKuti, Seun Kuti has released a new public statement on social media after regaining his freedom from the police .
Recall that Seun got arrested on May 13 for assaulting a police officer on duty.
According to Seun who was spotted, angrily assaulting the officer in a video that went viral online, the police man in question tried to get him and family killed on the highway.
The singer was released on the evening of May 23, 2023 after meeting his bail conditions.
To announce his freedom, Seun took to his Instagram page to share a post appreciating all that stood by him during his trial with the police.
This comes after a video of his family celebrating his freedom surfaced online.
He also curated a list of people who played a major in his release from prison and thanked them for being so supportive.
