Singer Seun Kuti Recounts ordeal with Nigerian Police

Afrobeat singer, Seun Anikulapo Kuti has taken to social media to recount his ordeal in the hands of Nigerian Police.

On May 15th, The singer was arrested and arraigned in court for assaulting a police officer on duty stating that he tried to kill him and his family members while driving on the highway.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, just a few days after regaining freedom from the police, Seun revealed that he was made to lay down on a cold floor in the midst of other prisoners. However he prefers it to dining with corrupt politicians.

He wrote: “Dem put me for hard cold floor, in the midst of prisoners still better than sitting in the devils house with politicians. “
