The title race in the Last Liga might just be over as Barcelona established a twelve point lead at the summit after defeating Real Madrid by 2-1.
In relatively the biggest game of the season, Madrid took the lead through an own goal from Barcelona defender, Araujo after nine minutes, but Xavi’s men were level on the stroke of half time through Sergi Roberto.
Barcelona dominated the second half and was rewarded with a stoppage time goal from Substitute, Franck Kessie to send the Catalan club Twelve points clear at the top.
Barcelona are now in Position to win their first League title in four years with just over ten games left to play in the La Liga, while Madrid will look to hold on to second position with neighbours Atletico Madrid breathing down their neck.
