Barcelona moved 10 points clear at the top of the Spanish La Liga standings after a hard fought 1-0 victory over Valencia on Sunday evening.
Brazilian winger , Raphinha scored the only goal of the game after he was put through on goal by Sergio Busquets. Barcelona look firmly in control of the game until Defender, Ronald Araujo was sent off in the second half, and Valencia thought they had a penalty when Franck Kessie handled Midfielder Perez in the box but the referee waved play on after not seeing enough contact to call for a penalty.
Xavi’s Barcelona saw off the game with 10-men and established a 10 point lead over rivals Real Madrid who play Real Betis later tonight.
