Lautaro Martinez’s goal secured a 1-0 victory for Inter Milan over their fierce rivals AC Milan at San Siro, propelling them to the Champions League final for the first time in 13 years.
Despite early pressure from AC Milan, Inter held their ground and delivered a disciplined second-leg display to ensure their progress to the final.
As the designated home team, Inter were heavily backed at a feverish San Siro.
AC Milan attempted to undo the damage of the first leg by launching a determined start, with Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz coming close to scoring.
Inter will now face either Manchester City or Real Madrid in Istanbul on 10 June.
