According to reports, Wilfried Zaha may consider joining Arsenal or Chelsea if he decides to let his contract run down at Crystal Palace.
It has been reported that the Ivory Coast international is likely to reject a new contract at Selhurst Park and leave for free in the summer.
However, TalkSPORT’s chief football correspondent, Alex Crook, has suggested that Zaha is more likely to stay in London.
Crook has stated that Mikel Arteta is a fan of the player and that Chelsea has shown an interest in him as well. Zaha has had a productive season so far, having scored six goals and provided three assists in 20 games.
Sportsmail had revealed in November that Zaha had been verbally offered a new contract by Crystal Palace, which included a significant pay raise from his current £130,000-a-week wages. However, no written offer was submitted, and with the winger’s current contract expiring soon, no extension seems to be forthcoming.
Zaha has many options available to him, having played a crucial role for Crystal Palace this season, albeit before picking up an injury. Apart from Arsenal and Chelsea, Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr is also interested in signing him.
The club had previously signed Cristiano Ronaldo on a massive £175m-a-year deal after the World Cup.
