Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has urged the people of the state to vote massively for the Peoples Democratic Party during next year’s general elections.

This is as he also promised to reciprocate the support given to him across Ijesaland during the last governorship poll.

Adeleke, represented by his deputy, Sunday Adewusi, stated this while speaking at Iwude Ijesa festival held in Ilesa. He also commended residents for their support during the July 16 governorship election and promised that they would all benefit from his administration.

“It has in no small measure contributed to the peaceful coexistence not only among the sons and daughters of Ijesha land but the people of the Osun State as a whole.

“(I) appreciate the Ijeshas for their immense support before, during and after my emergence as the governor of the state. I am ready to reciprocate the gesture.”

Also speaking at the event, the Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly, Timothy Owoeye, commended Ijesa people for their unity and commitment to the development of the area.
