Marcel Sabitzer, the Bayern Munich-owned midfielder currently on loan at Manchester United, may have given a hint about his future plans, as he recently spoke about his time at the English club.
Sabitzer joined United during the winter transfer window on a deal until the end of the season, and with his impressive performances, he has become an important part of the squad.
However, a big decision needs to be made about his future, as his loan deal is set to expire in the summer, with his contract at Bayern running through to 2025.
Speaking to Sky Germany, Sabitzer praised the size and passion of Manchester United, saying that “everything is bigger here”.
He also noted the strong connection between fans and players at Old Trafford, and how proud he is to have been a part of the club’s recent success in winning the Carabao Cup.
Despite his positive experience at United, Sabitzer has not received any approach from new Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel, and he remains focused on his current task.
He added that “everything will be analysed and discussed at leisure” regarding his future plans.
Sabitzer’s loan deal has been successful so far, with 16 appearances and three goals across all competitions.
However, with his contract at Bayern running for several more years, it remains to be seen whether he will extend his association with Manchester United or return to his parent club.
