How to Avoid Google Updates Hitting your Site in 2023
The problem for site owners and bloggers recently is the issue of Google updates. Google, in an attempt to stay relevant as the biggest search engine in the world, has been frequently rolling out updates to its algorithm.
Aside from rolling these out to stay relevant, they are rolled out to counter some dubious site owners. In this post, we’ll be looking at how to avoid Google updates hitting your site in 2023.
We’re going to be unraveling what you should avoid as well as what you need to do to avoid getting hit. Of course, the effect of getting hit is that you lose your ranking on Google, thereby losing the amount of traffic that comes to your site.
How to Avoid Google Updates Hitting your Site in 2023

  1. Write and Upload Original Contents

You should ensure you write and upload 100% original contents on your site. Even though several writing AIs are trending, we encourage you not to use these AIs to come up with yours. Google has a strict no-AI policy.
Make content research yourself, and write every word of your content. You should also note that a good number of your posts should be informational than about marketing your site or products.
  2. Check you’re for Plagiarism

In recent times, a blogger or site owner doesn’t need to be told to avoid all forms of plagiarism. In addition to avoidance, you should also ensure you check your contents for plagiarism. You may have in one or another plagiarized without your knowledge. You should do well to check and correct it.
  3. Edit your Contents Thoroughly

Many site owners don’t know that Google always checks the grammatical correctness of their articles as a ranking factor. They also don’t know that it is checked in case of the rolling out of updates. You should endeavor to edit your contents correctly, and avoid posting regular grammatically incorrect articles to avoid getting hit.
In addition, you should write sparse contents. This means your articles should be long enough to offer real value to the visitor of your website.
  4. Spammy Links

Most site owners, especially the ones who purchased their domains newly, are always eager to increase the domain authority of their sites, and so they resort to buying links. Google frowns at this heavily. No matter the time and how difficult the growth of your site would be, it is better you avoid buying links.
Google has a strong policy against links shopping. If the search engine algorithm notices that you buy links, you’ll be hit, and your site deranked.
  5. Avoid Having Excessive Ads or Marketing Contents on your Site

As a site owner, you should not have excessive ads and marketing on your site. It is worse if you have lots of affiliate links on your site. Your site can easily get hit by Google if they notice this.
So, you should keep your marketing, ads, and promotions moderate. We reiterate that the major aim of your site is to offer immense value to your readers before you think of money-making.
    Conclusion
All that is stated in this article represents how to avoid Google updates hitting your site in 2023. You should focus on getting good readers to your site. If they see the immense value that you offer, they’ll always come back, and Google won’t hit your site with their algorithm update.

The Kremlin’s goal is to “create a sanitary cordon” of up to 100 kilometers (60 miles) around Russian-held areas so short- and mid-range weapons can't strike them, according to Medvedev. Moscow may even set its sights on grabbing a bigger chunk of Ukrainian territory, stretching all the way to the border with Poland, he said.
