Controversial Nigerian singer and songwriter, Temmie Ovwasa popularly known as YBNL princess has given her opinion on one of the world’s most sensitive topics which is heaven and hell.
During her recent chat with former Big Brother Naija housemate and media personality Doyin, on her podcast show Doyin’s Corner. Temmie expressed her viewpoint, She mentioned that she doesn’t personally believe in the existence of heaven or hell.
In fact, she went on to say that she would prefer being in hell surrounded by sinners rather than being in heaven among Christians.
She said ” I do not think I’m going to hell, I joke about it often and it gets on people’s nerves and I love doing that but I do not think I’m going to hell. I do not believe in hell, I do not think there is a pit of internal damnation that I’m going to and to be honest, if there is a pit of internal damnation that I’m going to. I’d rather go there than be stuck with Christians in heaven because Christians are the meanest people I have met in my life. They come into my DM every day to tell me I’m going to hell. That is not what Jesus was preaching. Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself. “

Truth be told Christians we judge people a lot and say mean things just to validate our own beliefs and way of life and we do not care how we hurt people just to make them know that whatever they are doing is not acceptable. But let us ask ourselves is that the way you can win her over? The gospel preaches love and compassion, not the other way round. We need to do better”
