Liverpool has scheduled matches against Bayern Munich and Leicester City as part of their preseason trip to Singapore.
The Reds will make their second consecutive trip to Asia to participate in the Singapore Festival of Football as part of their preseason for the 2023–24 season.
On Monday night in the Premier League, they played Leicester. On Sunday, July 30, they will play Leicester again before playing Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern on Wednesday, August 2.
Both games will be held at Singapore’s National Stadium, and on Saturday, July 29, the Reds will offer an open training session for fans.
Liverpool had travelled to Thailand and Singapore last year, so it had been assumed that they would visit the United States this summer.
However, it was felt that going back to the Far East, where club sponsors Standard Chartered are based, made more sense.
Throughout their week-long visit to Singapore, Jurgen Klopp and his players will take part in a number of business and community events.
Liverpool’s commercial director, Ben Latty, said:
“We’re excited to be returning to Singapore for the preseason trip this summer”.
“Last year we were so pleased with the hospitality and the infrastructure, including the training facility, stadium, and infrastructure, that we leaped at the chance to return. We can’t wait to see them again”
The Reds host Aston Villa at Anfield on Saturday in their final home Premier League match of the season.
