Despite the uncertainties surrounding the club’s ownership, manager Erik ten Hag believes Manchester United can still attract “quality players” in the summer.
After he took over at the end of the last season, he claimed it was challenging to persuade players to join him at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag said, “I notice a significant difference from last year.
“More players are now aware of the project, what is happening, the dynamic, and the ambition.”
Brazillian midfielder Casemiro cost £70 million to join United from Real Madrid last summer.
Christian Eriksen, Antony, Lisandro Martinez, and Tyrell Malacia were all acquired by the club too.
Prior to joining Liverpool, Dutch forward Cody Gakpo was widely connected with a transfer from PSV Eindhoven in December.
Ten Hag stated: “Last year, there were many reservations and skepticisms when we approached players. Many excellent players are eager to join this year”.
The two primary parties seeking to buy the club are Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos Group and Qatari financier Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, both of which have made bids for United.
The Glazer family, who own United, has not yet designated a preferred bidder.
United also has four games in the Premier League to secure top four status and a place in the UEFA Champions League next season.
After that, they will face Manchester city in the FA Cup Final on June 3rd.
