The Nigeria Labour Congress has suspended its plans to embark on nationwide strike over naira scarcity.
The group officials announced the suspension of the strike today (Tuesday) during its National Executive Council meeting.
However, NLC gave CBN additional two weeks to ensure Naira notes circulation normalize across the country.
The national president of the union, Joe Ajaero, said the decision to picket the CBN branches became necessary as the federal government and the CBN had failed to show any commitment to addressing the situation.
