The General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor Williams Kumuyi said Nigeria is in dire need of prayers as people cannot remain prayerless and expect things to fall into place in the country.

Speaking via live transmission at the just concluded global crusade/retreat, Pastor Kumuyi urged the people to turn back from their sins and seek the face of God so that things would turn around for the better in the country.

The Deeper Life General Superintendent assured that if the people would gather themselves in prayer and genuine repentance, God would show forth in honour of his words.

The cleric who encouraged also encouraged Nigerians not to resign to their fate urged them to learn from Daniel in the bible who confessed the sins of the nation of Israel with a broken heart and prompted God to intervene in their situation.

According to him: “Daniel did not sit back prayerless and expect that things will fall into line. He set himself to seek the face of God as He has said in His word. There is assurance for all who seek God faithfully and wholeheartedly that they will find Him. He promised to turn away their captivity and gather them from all the nations where He has driven them to.
