The Super Eagles of Nigeria claimed a 1-0 victory over Guinea Bissau in the AFCON Qualifier this evening. The Eagles had earlier lost the first Leg in Abuja on Friday, but they attained for the defeat with a hard fought victory in Guinea.
Nantes winger, Moses Simon scored the only goal of the game from the Penalty Spot after 30 minutes. Jose Peseiro’s men dominated the game and had a couple of chances to score more goals but were denied by some finishing from the Forward players.
Nigeria now return to the summit of the table with Nine points with Guinea Bissau in second place Seven points.Sierra Leone are sitting in third place with Five points while Sao Tome sitting in fourth place with one point.
