Real Madrid thrashed Barcelona by 4-0 to advance to the Copa del Rey final thanks to a second-half hat-trick from Karim Benzema.
Madrid leveled the tie through Vinicius Jr. in first-half stoppage time after falling behind 1-0 from the first leg.
Early in the second half, Benzema added two goals, the second coming from the penalty spot to give the visitors the lead. In the 80th minute, he scored his third goal to secure the victory.
After accomplishing the feat last Sunday against Real Valladolid, this was Benzema’s second hat-trick in as many games.
Carlo Ancelotti’s team will now play against Osasuna on May 6.
For Barcelona, they will now have to focus on trying to win the La Liga title having been knocked of the Champions League, Europa League and Now the Copa Del Rey.
