After weeks of Reviews, the Guinness World Record has finally honored Nigerian chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey, also known as Hilda Baci, who cooked for 100 hours, breaking the record for the longest cooking marathon by individual.
SpeedUp9ja had reported that Hilda Baci had cooked for 100 hours non-stop, surpassing, Lata Tondon, the Indian who was the record holder for uninterrupted cooking race of up to 87 hours 45 minutes.
The record body (GWR) finally certified her as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon (individual) on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
Guinness World Record tweeted, “After reviewing all the footage, we’re delighted to announce that Hilda Baci is the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon (individual)
