Kylian Mbappe says he is not bothered about breaking Michel Platini’s goalscoring statistics for France.
The 24 year old now has 38 international goals for his country having scored twice in a 4-0 hammering of Netherlands on Friday.
Now, despite being only three goals behind Michel Platini’s 41 goals, the new France Captain says he does not feel the pressure.
“It’s an honour for me to be mentioned in the same sentence as Michel (Platini), and I will definitely love to beat his record. I am not bothered about,it but we will see how it goes. For now, I am only focused on the next game”
France take on The Republic Of Ireland in their next game as they look to qualify for the Euro 2024 Championship.
