Barcelona forward, Robert have been Ruled out for two weeks after suffering a Hamstring Injury today.
The Polish striker was said to have not completed the training sessions for today and he is now set to miss the El Classico on Thursday.
Barcelona Football Club also released an official statement this after on their clubs website
“Lewandowski has a sprain in his left hamstring and he will be out for a couple of weeks, we wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him get back on the field of play as soon as possible”
On Thursday, Barcelona will play Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in the first half of their cup match without injured teammates Pedri and Ousmane Dembele.
After joining from Bayern Munich last summer, Polish striker Lewandowski, 34, is the team’s leading scorer with 25 goals across all competitions this season.
