According to reports, Liverpool is considering a move for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The French international’s Turin contract is set to run out at the end of June, and he is reportedly getting ready to move on from the Old Lady for greener pastures.
Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Liverpool is closely monitoring the situation and may make a move for the 27-year-old.
As things stand, Rabiot has the option to speak with and sign a pre-contract with a club outside of Serie A.
Given that Juventus could lose out on playing in Europe for the 2023–24 season, the Old Lady is not thought to be confident about their chances of keeping the Frenchman.
Rabiot moved to Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain in 2019, and he has played 154 times for the Italian team, scoring 12 goals and dishing out eight assists.
Last summer, the Frenchman was heavily linked with a transfer to Manchester United, and it was once believed that he was about to sign with the 20-time English kings.
The midfielder “dreams” of joining the Premier League, claims Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Reds struggled in that region of the field during the 2022–23 season, hence Liverpool is anticipated to move for a few new central midfielders over the summer.
