Another Nigeria Chef, Adeyeye Adeola, has begin a new journey to breaking Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon (individual).
The chef who is set to embark on her cooking race on Friday, June 30, 2023, at a location in the Ile-Oluji Local Government Area of Ondo State and it scheduled to conclude on Thursday, July 6, 2023.
It barely one month after another chef from Ekiti State, Adeparusi Damilola, also known as Chef Dammy concluded a 120-hour cook-a-thon, surpassing the current record holder, Hilda Baci who achieved 93 hours and 11 minutes.
Chef Dammy, a 26-year-old student at the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, aimed to push the boundaries of culinary endurance.
Guinness World Records in statement confirmed that Hilda Effiong Bassey, Popularly known as Hilda Baci, as the record holder for the longest cooking marathon by individual, with 93 hours and 11 minutes.
However, Adeola’s 150-hour cook-a-thon if achieved will break Hilda Baci’s record and also set a new world record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
