Popular Nigerian Singer, Iyanya has replied to a troll who claimed he made no impact on Afrobeat music globally.
He said only a brainless person would think he didnt contribute to the success of Afrobeat music globally.
It all started when a Twitter user threw shade at Nigerian music executive, Ubi Franklin for including Iyanya in the list of Nigerian musicians who made an impact globally with Afrobeat music.
He felt Iyanya shouldn’t be on the list of Nigerian musicians who took Afrobeat music to the international stage.
He wrote: “Ubi Franklin gave shout out to Davido, Wizkid, Rema and Burna Boy for what they’re doing to Afrobeats internationally and he mentioned Iyanya too 😭”
Iyanya didn’t take the comment from him lightly and fired back at the troll.
“And who are you again? Only a brainless person will try to undermine my contribution to this game till date. You definitely are clueless. “He wrote
Netizens also disagreed with the troll for saying Iyanya didn’t contribute to the success of Afrobeat globally, See below
