Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri has dropped Paul Pogba from the matchday squad for tonight’s Europa League game With Freiburg due to disciplinary reasons, only two games after his return from injury.
The French midfielder was left out of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans for the first leg of the Europa League last-16 showdown, with the Bianconeri opting for alternative options.
Pogba had only just made his second competitive debut for Juventus in February 2022, following his return to Turin as a free agent. However, the 29-year-old breached club rules and now finds himself out of favour with the team.
After suffering from knee surgery and missing the 2022 World Cup finals, Pogba had hoped to secure a regular role upon his return to fitness. However, he reported late for duty on Wednesday and has been left out of Juventus’ latest squad.
