Ex-Big Brother Titans Housemate, Jeni O has revealed why she thinks Afro-beat Superstar, Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid is not the best in terms of lyrics in Nigeria.
She made this known while speaking on a podcast show where she talked about Nigerian artists and their music.
Jeni said Wizkid is not the best lyrically going by the kind of music he has dropped in recent times.
Comparing his 2020 album, Made in Lagos, and his 2022 project, More Love Less Ego, Jeni O opined that Wizkid probably released songs he wanted to hear not really what his audience was expecting to hear and she feels there is nothing with that.
Giving her 10 cents on the album in a funny and sarcastic manner
“Don’t get me wrong, This is going to come out so wrong but wizkid I love you. Wizkid is not a Lyricist. Lyrically, he is not the best.
Im Wizkid FC o, I’m just saying..basically I’m Everybody FC. It doesn’t matter but what I mean is I get what you are saying about evolve and change and Nigerians don’t take that in but what I’m saying is I look at the made-in-Lagos and More Love Less Ego.
The album he just dropped. I am not going to go back to the first album he dropped, I’m literally going to look at these two and I feel like looking at these albums, Wizkid is just giving what he wants us to hear and there is nothing wrong with that.
Wiz can do that, Wiz can drop hey sexy lady, hey sexy lady and we play it continuously. Wiz can do that.” she added
