In the English Premier League, Fulham who are vying for a spot in Europe, secured a hard-earned draw against struggling Wolves at home, with Substitute Manor Solomon finding the back of the net for the third consecutive game.
The hosts were lackluster for most of the match and missed an opportunity to level points with Newcastle, who sit fifth on the table.
Pablo Sarabia gave Wolves the lead with a sweeping first-half strike, after his earlier weak attempt was saved by home goalkeeper Bernd Leno. Sarabia expertly turned in Raul Jimenez’s knockdown after combining with the Mexican striker twice in the build-up.
However, Solomon’s superb curling effort into the right corner saved the day for Fulham, who were in danger of losing the game.
Jimenez came close to putting Wolves in front again in the second half, but his header went narrowly wide. Fulham struggled to create clear-cut chances until the closing stages, and the result leaves them in sixth place on the table with 39 points. Wolves, on the other hand, remain in 15th place, four points above the relegation zone.
