Eden Hazard may consider a full retirement from Football as soon as his current contract at Real Madrid expires in 2024.
After Belgium was eliminated from the 2022 World Cup in the group stage, the former captain of Belgium announced his retirement from international football.
Now, according to Spanish Outlet Relevo, he is thinking about hanging his boots in 2024.
The Belgian reportedly feels that he has accomplished everything in football and that it is time to hang up his boots after playing for a club he always dreamed of representing.
However, it is still unclear whether he would consider retiring in 2024 as he still might receive some lucrative offers from the MLS and the Arab leagues.
The former Chelsea winger, who has played only 331 minutes this season, has had a challenging time in Madrid.
Recent revelations that he and Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti do not communicate have also strained their relationship.
Although Hazard wants to finish his current deal with the Spanish powerhouses, the Club will be willing to listen to offers for him in the upcoming campaign.
