Popular Afrobeat superstar Davido, expressed his gratitude towards the Nigerian government for including him in the list of 337 distinguished Nigerians who will be honored with National awards on June 2nd, 2023.
Davido, known for his remarkable contributions to the music industry, will be receiving the prestigious Officer of the Order of Niger award with other notable Nigerians.
Taking to his Twitter account, Davido expressed his appreciation and emphasized that he values the award bestowed on him immensely stating that it has always been his passion to utilize his platform to showcase Nigeria to the world.
Additionally, the singer emphasized the strong bond Nigerians have with their country, mentioning that Nigeria is the only nation they call their own and will do whatever must be done to make it work.
He wrote: ”
