'If Davido calls me to give me money I will reject it'- Media personality Daniel Regha

Controversial media personality and celebrity critic, Daniel Regha revealed in another part of his interview with Doyin that he would never accept money from Nigerian singer, Davido.

He made this statement in response to why he always called out Davido to fulfill the promise he made to his fans 2 years ago.

He said that Davido promised to give money to some of his struggling fans sometime in 2021 but has not fulfilled the promise to this day.

Daniel Regha also said that most celebrities use giveaways to gain attention and sometimes revive their fanbase, and sometimes they pick people they already know to benefit from it.

In his words ” Now most celebrities this is what they do, They will come out say, Im gonna do this, I’m gonna do that. They get the clout. They use to revive their fanbase or whatever and then they pause back. Sometimes they select people they already know.”

Speaking on his issue with Davido and how he handles his fans when they come after him

“Most people come out and say you keep talking about Davido, it’s not your money. Yes its not my money. I didn’t participate in the donation. If Davido calls me too and gives me money, I will not accept it. No jokes there are some people that will call me to give me money today that I will not accept for some reasons while there are some people that will call me and give me money and I will accept and be like Oh thank you. Marcaroni has dashed me money before, he gave me $100 and I was oh thank you oh. I didn’t ask for it, but that doesn’t mean that you’ll give me 100k and you will now say something I don’t like and I will keep quiet. I will put you on blast, You know when people give you something, they will be like I have given you something I don’t care, if you do anyhow I will put you on blast.”
