Barcelona and Spain left-back Jordi Alba, 34, is set to leave the club this summer, as the Spanish champions have agreed to mutually terminate his contract.
Alba, who arrived at the club in 2012 from Valencia, has enjoyed a highly successful tenure at Barcelona, winning six La Liga titles, five Copa del Rey trophies, and the Champions League in 2015.
During his time at the club, he has made 458 appearances, including 29 this season as Barcelona secured the La Liga title.
Alba will be joining club captain Sergio Busquets in departing this summer.
In a statement on the Barcelona website, the club expressed their gratitude to for Alba, his professionalism, commitment, and dedication, and wished him every success in the future, adding that Barcelona will always be a home for him.
