Rather than accepting an offer to manage Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli, Jose Mourinho has opted to remain at Roma.
Despite earlier speculation linking him to Paris Saint-Germain, Mourinho’s future at Roma had been uncertain before his decision to decline the opportunity with Al-Ahli.
The Portuguese manager met with Al-Ahli’s president in London to convey his lack of interest in the position, despite reported interest from other Saudi clubs.
The Saudi league has already secured high-profile players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, and is rumored to be targeting additional stars like Romelu Lukaku, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Steven Gerrard, who is currently without a managerial job.
