Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos Group and Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani have reportedly presented their final offers for Manchester United, according to BBC Sport.
The two primary groups attempting to take over the club are these two.
The Glazer family, who own the club, will now evaluate their situation after the latest bid deadline expired at 22:00 BST on Friday.
Both bidders are eager for the process, which started in November, to come to an end.
According to Sheikh Jassim’s bid, which includes one sum that would go directly to the sellers, the price is around £5 billion, according to BBC Sport.
It also outlines a strategy for investing a sizeable sum in infrastructure and additional capital for the club.
