According to reports, Julian Nagelsmann is no longer in the running to become Chelsea’s next permanent Manager.
The German manager was one of the main candidates for the position at Stamford Bridge.
But with this latest development, Nagelsmann no longer sees himself as a candidate to lead the Blues, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The German’s decision to withdraw from consideration is unknown, but the news is encouraging for the other managers seeking to be Graham Potter’s long-term replacement.
According to earlier Friday reports, Chelsea is considering Nagelsmann, Mauricio Pochettino, Vincent Kompany, and one other candidate for their top position.
Pochettino is now unquestionably the most likely candidate to hold the top job in west London as the former is no longer an option.
Recently, there have also been connections with Luis Enrique.
Nagelsmann could be available for jobs at PSG or Tottenham. These clubs would be out to get new managers in the summer respectively.
