Nigerian Chef, Hilda Baci has taken to her Twitter page to reveal that she checks her email account every second since she submitted her cooking marathon evidence to teams of Guinness world records for review.

On May 15, 2023, Hilda Baci made headlines by breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking hours by an individual. She cooked non-stop for over 100 hours, surpassing the previous record set in 2019 by renowned Indian chef Lata Todon, who cooked for 87 hours.
In a statement released by Guinness World Records on May 18, it was mentioned that their team would meticulously examine the evidence from the cooking marathon before officially confirming the record.
They wrote: “we’re aware of this amazing record attempt, we need to review all the evidence first before officially confirming a record”
Hilda, in her Twitter post today, shared that she has been anxiously checking her emails every second, as she had submitted all the required evidence from the cooking marathon.
Hilda tweeted ” Not me refreshing my email every second since we submitted all the evidence to Guinness World Records 😩🥺
This tweet caught the attention of Guinness World Records, who responded in the comments to reassure her that their professional record team is currently reviewing the evidence.
They wrote” our records team are working on it 💪”
Netizens also chimed in, urging the record team to expedite the process and not tamper with Hilda’s records. They expressed their eagerness for the results to be announced soon.
