Victor Osimhen has been named the top striker of the 2022/23 Serie A season, following an exceptional performance with Napoli.
Osimhen has scored an impressive 25 goals in the Serie A this season, the highest ever by an African player in a single season of the Italian top-flight league.
The Serie A official Twitter handle read:

His exceptional form has earned him the first of many post-season accolades that he deserves.
The 24-year-old played a significant role in helping Napoli secure their first Serie A title in over three decades, scoring the crucial goal that sealed the title for Partenopei against Udinese.
This season has been Osimhen’s best in Europe, with him achieving a remarkable 30-goal tally, which is ten more than his previous best season, where he scored 20 goals for Charleroi in Belgium.
