Real Madrid and Napoli Advanced to the Quarter Finals of the UEFA Champions League after defeating Liverpool and Eintracht Frankfurt respectively.
Madrid sealed Qualifications with a 1-0 victory over Liverpool courtesy of a second half goal from Karim Benzema. Ancelotti’s Madrid had won the reverse fixture by 5-2 when both teams met at Anfield two weeks ago.
Elsewhere, Victor Osimhen scored twice as Napoli cruised past Eintracht Frankfurt by 3-0.
Osimhen scored either side of both halves before Piotr Zielinski added a third from the penalty spot to give Napoli a convincing 5-0 aggregate win over the German club.
Madrid and Napoli now join a host of other top European clubs that have made it to the Quarter Finals.
Chelsea, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Inter Milan are all going to be amongst the draws for the Quarter Finals.
The draws for the Quarter Finals will take place on Friday, 17th of March 2023.
