Three days after engaging in a 100 hours cooking marathon that broke the Guiness world record for the longest cooking hours by an individual, Nigerian Chef, Hilda Baci has taken to her social media to speak on her experience.
She said she has been unable to sleep since she completed the cooking marathon that got the attention of top Nigerian politicians and Nigerian celebrities all over the world.
Recall that Hilda Baci on May 15, 2023, made the whole Nigeria proud after breaking the Guiness world record with her cooking marathon that lasted 100 hours surpassing Indian chef, Lata Todon who held the record since 2019 with 87 hours of cooking.
In an Instagram live video she made on the evening of May 19, she revealed that she has been struggling to sleep since she completed the cooking marathon because she is still in shock over the massive love and support she got from Nigerians during the course of her attempt to break the record.
She thanked Nigerians for standing by her throughout the period stating that their love and support gave her the strength to keep going during the marathon.
She also recalled how Nigerian music diva, Tiwa Savage showed up at the venue to support and encourage her.
Hilda in a very appreciative mood said” It was such an incredible experience and I feel like it was the same for everyone not just me. It is thesame for every single person that was there because I am just speechless. I guess in other words, I’m just trying to say thank you.
“Thats honestly what I have to say and I will keep praying for each and everyone of you and my mummy prays for you everyday and I don’t take your love and attention for granted. And I won’t stop being me. Thank you so much. And I pray that we will have more good news to share. “
However, The guiness world record said they would have to review her evidence from the cooking marathon before certifying her with the title.
