The Chilean was a man in demand back in 2018 having spent the previous four years at Arsenal, but he said his decision to join United was down to the benefits that came with it.

“I also received a call from Jose (Mourinho), he offered me the iconic number seven jersey at man United and a Chance to become the first Chilean player to play for the club was something I could not resist, it was like a dream for me”
Despite bagging a whopping 350k a week deal, Sanchez believes that he would have won the UEFA Champions League with City if he had joined them.
“I would have won the Champions League by now if I had joined city, I would have done something in the Final that they lost to Chelsea”
After a dissapointing 18 Month Spell at Old Trafford, Sanchez, went on score five Goals in 45 games before moving to Inter Milan in 2019.
The 34 year old now plays in France with Olympique De Marseille.
